Pepsi gets in on the action too. Headliners at their Super Bowl party over the past few years have included Pharrell, DJ Khaled, and Bruno Mars. In 2017, Pepsi used this party as a chance to launch their new premium bottled water, LIFEWTR… not that anyone was drinking water there. And tickets sold out in under a minute. They hosted their party on Friday – so you could still hit some of the other more famous parties on Saturday (if you’re an animal). Both years they’ve housed these concerts at the traveling Club Nomadic. Calling it “Art After Dark” in 2017, the bash featured art installations, experiential exhibits, and a speakeasy lounge with fancy bourbon cocktails.
Fun Fact: Bleacher Report actually claims one of the best PepsiCo parties occurred at Super Bowl I in LA. Yeah, the first one ever. One of the Pepsi higher-ups and his wife packed two private planes with their closest friends and flew them to the stadium to watch the Packers win. Afterwards they migrated to Perino’s – an Italian restaurant and popular Hollywood hotspot – to continue partying in the city.
Apparently these Pepsi big timers have always known how to party… We’ll just have to wait and see if they do it again in 2018!
