Let\u2019s go ahead and get this out there: Miami is HUGE. Its metropolitan area expands up to West Palm Beach and includes Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Hollywood Beach, plus tons of other cities, towns, and beaches in between. Lots of people drive and commute around here too, so you\u2019re likely to experience quite a bit of traffic in the city and surrounding areas during your visit \u2013 especially during an event as big as the Super Bowl. <\/span><\/p>\n

While Miami isn\u2019t world renowned for its public transportation system, it\u2019s probably a good idea to get the hang of it while you\u2019re here. It\u2019s cheap, effective, and, hey, some of it is even FREE! And they\u2019ve got monorails and trolleys! Here\u2019s how to use Miami public transportation during the Super Bowl.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Miami-Dade Transit fleet keeps getting more modern! As of last month, we have 269 new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses on the streets of #OurCounty, and 70 new Metrorail cars accepted for service! The remainder of our all-new Metrorail fleet and the next 31 CNG buses are on schedule to be ready by next year. #GoMiamiDade<\/a><\/p>\n
